Who is Black Leisure Travel?

Black Leisure Travel is a travel club offering group travel opportunities to popular travel destinations. Black Leisure Travel is owned by Beyond Vacation & Travel Services, LLC which is a is a full-service travel company specializing in itinerary planning in addition to making travel arrangements for individuals and groups.

 

Is Black Leisure Travel certified and licensed company?

Yes, we are certified with IATAN and CLIA. We also hold a $2M general liability insurance policy and E&R insurance.

 

Do you provide travel quotes for private trips?

Private travel quote are provided by our parent company Beyond Vacation & Travel Services, LLC and can be contacted at info@beyondvts.com.

 

What are your hours?

We are available via email all times of the day and on weekends at info@blackleisuretravel.com.

 

Is Black Leisure Travel just for women?

No. Black Leisure Travel is open to anyone looking to travel. Our ideal clients tend to be the professional men or women that are interested in exploring the world,

Reservation Questions

Can I make a booking on an event after the payments have begun?

Yes, you can. As long as the trip has availability you will be able to book a reservation, You will need to make the first deposit and then every month make monthly payments until the balance is paid in full.

 

What happens after I book my reservation?

Once you book your reservation, you will receive an account summary. Your account summary will list your monthly payment plan. This is set up by default to charge your credit card every month, or you can choose to turn off the automatic monthly billing option.

 

After I make my first reservation, how do I make monthly payments?

You can make monthly payments several ways. Visit our website home page www.blackleisuretravel.com and click the “Account Login” link in the top right corner.

When will I receive the itinerary for my trip?

Itineraries are sent to each client 30 days before the event via email.

 

Roommate Matching Questions

Do you provide roommate matching?

Yes. Traveling alone, and in need of a roommate. We don’t want you to miss out on this experience because you don’t have a travel partner. That’s why we offer roommate matching to help solo travelers.  This option gives you the freedom to select the double occupancy rate and is willing to be matched with another traveler of the same sex.

However, if you are someone that is looking to travel in luxury or desires a bit more privacy, no worries! Simply select the single occupancy, and you get to be a part of our group while still having your own unique experience.

 

How does roommate matching work? Here are the rules:

  • All singles will be matched with the same sex.

  • Get excited – this will no doubt be an incredible experience.

  • Our team will make every effort possible to connect you and your roomie prior to departure so you can connect and get acquainted.

  • Should our team be unable to find a roommate match, an additional charge of $300 will be assessed.

  • A single person purchasing a double occupancy package can expect to be matched with one roommate except in cases where they have provided the name of a person, they would like to share accommodations with.

  • To ensure an intimate and uninvaded experience for our travelers, certain details such as airline names, departure times, hotels and our preparation tips will be withheld until the final payment is received.

 

What happens if my roommate drops out and cancel their reservations?

If your roommate cancels their reservations, your account will be adjusted to the package price according to the new occupancy in your room.

Payment Questions

What payments do you accept?

We accept online payments of Visa, Mastercard and Discover. For individual reservations (private reservations), we accept credit card authorization forms and credit card over the phone with a 3.5% fee.

 

Do you provide refunds?

No, we do not provide refunds, nor do we transfer money. Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before reservation is accepted. To protect your investment, you are encouraged to purchase travel insurance preferably cancel for any reason.

 

Do I have to make a payment every month?

Default monthly payments will be bill automatically to your credit card.  If you chose not to have automatic recurring payment then you should make every effort to make a payment every month. If you find yourself not being able to make a payment, please send us an email. If you fail to make a payment for 60 days without any communication to us, your reservations will automatically cancel and all fund paid towards the trip will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

What happens if I make my payments, but my roommate(s) fail to pay?

If you booked your trip with a desired roommate named, then you will be responsible for finding a new roommate or you must pay the additional cost for the room occupancy change.

Are you hiring?

Yes. We are looking for Interns. We hire interns for college credit for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Interns must be studying in the field of hospitality, marketing or business.

 

How can I become a member of the Black Leisure Travel?

Black Leisure Travel is a NOT membership-based service. We are a company that provides small group travel services and anyone who loves to travel can join one or more of our trip offerings.

 

However, you can join our Facebook group to connect with other travelers and stay on top of new trips and travel related news.
